Meeting of Directors-General for Industrial Relations

The Directors-General responsible for industrial relations in the member states will meet in Helsinki on 23 and 24 May. The meeting will focus on topical issues related to labour legislation. Finland will present the priorities of its upcoming Presidency in the employment and social affairs sectors.

This biannual meeting serves as a forum for information exchange between the Commission and the member states. It also provides an opportunity for member states to present recent developments in their national labour legislation. Although the meeting is being held during the Romanian Presidency, it is traditionally hosted by the following Presidency.
