An exhibition in the chapel of the Sint-Jan Berchmans College
As part of the Finnish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Office d'Art Contemporain is pleased to introduce you to Mikko Paakkola, an internationally renowned artist who is a wonderful practitioner of the worldly and universal discipline of painting. His painting. That of visual pleasure in its imaginary and introspective dimension and that of technical mastery anchored to its own foundation.
Mikko Paakkola is invited to show his works in two institutions.
He presents his last cycle of paintings entitled "The twelfth hour" in the beautiful space of the Sint-Michielskerk of the Sint-Jan Berchmanscollege, located just a stone's throw from the Grand Place in Brussels. A second cycle, named “North of the sea, landscapes”, is on display at the Finnish Embassy in the European Quarter.
