EU-US Justice and Home Affairs Senior Officials Meeting
The EU and the US meet regularly to discuss justice and home affairs. They meet first at senior official level, in preparation for a meeting at ministerial level. The senior officials meeting and the ministerial meeting take place once during each six-month presidency of the Council of the EU. The ministerial meeting is held in the capital of the EU member state during the first half of the year and in the US during the second half of the year.
